Caves of Steel

Caves of Steel is a touch-operated version of a scrambler-style game, in which the player must guide a spacecraft through a horizontal scrolling maze of deadly blocks to reach the end of each level. Some game levels require skill, others also involve puzzle-solving. Each level can be completed, even if some may initially seem impossible.
The game was written as an exercise to prove that Expo React Native, Skia, and Reanimated can be used to implement fast arcade games on mobile devices. I used CursorAI to help me with the code (although there were plenty of things that the AI could not solve), and Midjourney followed by editing with the Gimp was used for the image assets. Background music was generated by Suno, and has been released as an album here. Sound effects were obtained from Pixabay.

The Application collects no information when you download and use it.
The Application does not gather information about the location of your mobile device.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
Changes
